The Creditor and Debtor Sides of the Same Utah Case
A single Utah debt collection case has two sides, and Revenue Spark can deliver each to a different kind of attorney. The defendant is a lead for a debt defense attorney. The plaintiff, when it has no attorney yet, is a lead for a collections attorney. They never go to the same customer for the same case unless that customer subscribes to both.
Who gets which lead?
- Debt defense attorneys receive the defendants who have no attorney of record.
- Collections attorneys receive the plaintiffs who have no attorney of record.
In the debt collection cases we reviewed the plaintiff usually had counsel, so the plaintiff side is smaller. It is larger in small claims, where plaintiffs often file alone.
Can a firm take both?
Most firms pick one side, because representing opposite sides of the same case raises a conflict. Revenue Spark does not manage that for you. If you subscribe to both categories you may receive both sides of one case; decide in advance how you will handle it.
Does a person ever pay twice?
No. A person who matches two categories you subscribe to is delivered, and billed, once.
What does each side's lead look like?

Where do you sign up?
Pick the category for your side: consumer debt defense leads or collections attorney leads. See pricing.
